  1. ISS has live communication with earth and continuous support but long explorations can't have same support from earth.

  2. Boredom can be huge problem in long missions.

  3. Can't do resupply in long missions but can do for ISS.

  4. Every hour in space mission is scheduled with a task for an astronaut.

  5. Flaws or unknowns in VR - gravity problem, don't know how it behaves in micro gravity

  6. Visual signal should match with inner ear otherwise it makes them sick - it could be limiting factor

  7. Psychology principles should be applied when thinking about solutions.

  8. Team environment and team psychology can be considered for solutions.

  9. People can get nauseous with VR on earth, need to research and test how it works in space.

  10. Exercise backdrops could be another idea.

  11. Team VR activity could be good idea for project.

  12. Realism could be limitation.  Simulation could not be perfect and could be harmful rather than beneficial.

  13. All senses cannot be stimulated using VR.

  14. Augmented reality has been used in space but not immersive reality.

  15. Peggy Wu - working on social hub like entertainment hub for astronauts.

  16. Dr. Jay Buccky, and Alison references are in paper are also working on VR projects.

  17. Are there any devices or ways to detect and monitor mental health?

  18. VR game to stimulate detecting mental health.

  19. Ice- ice conditions simulations, stimulated ice environments.

  20. NASA funded project - ansible mentioned in paper - need more research

  21. Trouble with sleeping could be a problem to solve

  22. VR to be used for hobbies could be an idea

  23. Vertigo could be a problem with VR

  24. Fatigue of holding device could be a problem.

  25. Creating live game views like sitting in football stadium etc could be solutions

  26. Building team activity could be a solution

  27. Building simulation of family time could be a solution

  28. Building nature backdrop simulation for exercise could be a solution

  29. Building vacation site tours simulation could be a solution
