Me and Soham found a website that talks about the materials that NASA already uses and materials that they are going to use. They were talking about fibers and metals. They are thinking about using nanotech and nanotubes. This will help the ship repair itself and be more lightweight. The website name is: https://www.nasa.gov/vision/space/gettingtospace/16sep_rightstuff.html

Also the nanotech helps with the portable things. It lets the ship have more gas life.
